💫 Caring for Eyelash Extensions
Proper aftercare keeps extensions looking full and beautiful longer, and helps avoid premature fallout or infection.
✅ DOs:
Keep them dry for the first 24–48 hours
Avoid water, steam, sweat, or tears right after application to let the glue cure properly.
Clean lashes regularly (starting after 48 hours)
Use a lash-safe cleanser (oil-free, gentle, antibacterial) every day or two to prevent buildup of oil, dirt, or makeup.
Brush daily with a clean spoolie
Gently brush from the middle of the lash to the tip to keep them fluffy and untangled.
Sleep on your back if possible
Reduces friction and lash breakage caused by pillow contact.
Use oil-free products
Avoid oil-based cleansers, moisturizers, and makeup around the eyes – oils break down lash glue.
Get fills every 2–3 weeks
To maintain fullness and remove grown-out or twisted extensions.
🚫 DON’Ts:
Don't rub or tug at your eyes or lashes
Don’t use mascara on extensions
Especially not waterproof — it clumps and weakens the bond.
Avoid eyelash curlers
They can bend or snap extensions.
Don’t skip cleaning
Dirty lashes can lead to blepharitis (eyelid inflammation) or lash mites.
🌿 Caring for Natural Lashes
Even without extensions, your natural lashes deserve TLC:
✔️ Healthy Habits:
Remove makeup before bed
Use a gentle, oil-free eye makeup remover to prevent lash breakage.
Avoid rubbing your eyes
Pulling can weaken the lash follicle and cause lashes to fall out.
Use lash serums
Products with peptides or biotin (like RevitaLash or Grande LASH) can help strengthen and grow lashes.
Eat a lash-friendly diet
Protein, omega-3s, biotin, and vitamins A, C, and E support lash growth.
Use a clean lash comb
Helps separate lashes and stimulate blood flow to follicles.
